Home Health Aide (HHA) – Suffolk County, NY
Your Next HHA Case Could Be Closer Than You ThinkAre you a certified Home Health Aide (HHA) looking for an opportunity that works with your location and schedule?
Rockaway Home Care has clients throughout Suffolk County, New York , and we're looking for dependable HHAs across the county.
Our service area includes Huntington, Deer Park, Bay Shore, Patchogue, Centereach, Riverhead, Southampton, East Hampton, Montauk, and surrounding Suffolk County communities.
Suffolk County is a big place, and we don't expect you to travel from one end of the county to the other.
When you apply, tell our team where you're located and how far you're comfortable traveling. We'll review available cases and work to find an opportunity that makes sense for your location and availability.
Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Activities of daily living (ADLs)
Mobility and transfer assistance
Meal preparation
Medication reminders as permitted
Light housekeeping related to client care
Companionship and social interaction
Monitoring and reporting changes in condition
Required documentation
Following the client's plan of care
Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate
Authorization to work in the United States
Dependable transportation to your assigned case
Compassionate and professional demeanor
Good communication skills
Home care experience preferred but not required
$18–$22 per hour
Weekly pay
Flexible scheduling
Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities
Clients located throughout Suffolk County
Case matching based on location and availability
